The Joint Commission

NSM is very proud of earning The Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval® for Home Care Accreditation by demonstrating continuous compliance with its performance standards. The Gold Seal of Approval® is a symbol of quality that reflects an organization’s commitment to providing safe and effective care. NSM has been accredited with The Joint Commission since 2006 and is the only national CRT provider accredited by the organization.

We recently had the opportunity to share our story with surveyors from The Joint Commission.  Everything went really well but there were some corrections we were required to make to be fully re-accredited. Those updates have been provided to the Branches in the document “The Joint Commission 2025 Observations and Responses”, which is posted below.  Most required re-education on our existing policies with a couple of minor updates.
