As spring is fast approaching, we continue to find ourselves navigating exciting new chapters here at NSM such as Project Polaris, system enhancements, and improved policies to better serve our clients, but have you stopped to think how you are keeping your work environment exciting and fresh as we roll into the new season?

For me, I like to take a more personalized approach to ensure my office has everything it needs to keep my creative juices flowing. With Spring right around the corner, I cannot help but think spring cleaning, flowers and getting myself ready for the sun that will soon be warming our skin. It’s the little things that we surround ourselves with that keep up motivated while sitting at our desks.

Each week, I try to prepare for what may be up ahead. Although we cannot always predict what each day will look like, its nice to have some consistencies to keep me levelheaded for what may arise throughout the week. Some of my favorite spring treats include.

• Buying Flowers. Nothing says spring more than bouquets of fresh flowers to freshen up a room.
• Opening the blinds or windows. Listen to the wind blow and those bird’s chip.
• Clean Up. Although it might not sound like a fun spring activity, clearing away the clutter and getting organized can give you a mood boost.
