2023 1095-Cs Available Now - It's Tax Time!

Attention All U.S. Employees

As a part of the Affordable Care Act, the IRS requires the distribution of a document called a “1095” by March 1, 2024. The 1095-C is one of three versions of the Form 1095. This version is distributed by NSM to all full-time employees. The form will indicate whether or not you were offered a medical plan that met both minimum value and affordability requirements. It will also confirm each month of enrollment during the 2023 plan year. 

To access your 2023 Form 1095-C, follow the steps included in the 1095-C job aid.

• Kaiser CA – For those employees who were enrolled in a Kaiser CA medical plan during 2023, you will also receive a 1095-B directly from the insurance carrier, indicating any months of coverage for you and your covered dependents.

• Marketplace Enrollees – If you purchased coverage through the Health Insurance Marketplace at all during 2023, then you will receive a 1095-A.

Copies of these documents will also be provided to the IRS by NSM and/or the insurance carrier. Employees should keep this form for your tax records. If you have any questions about 1095-Cs, please reach out to benefits@nsm-seating.com.
