NSM Moves Forward: Transition from Fuze to RingCentral

At NSM, we are committed to providing reliable, streamlined communication tools for all of our branches. As part of this effort, we have been transitioning from the Fuze platform to RingCentral, bringing enhanced functionality and improved service for both calls and messaging.

U.S. Branches
The transition in the U.S. is nearly complete:

  • Phone numbers: 1,648 of 1,661 numbers have successfully ported to RingCentral—99.2% complete.
  • Text messaging: 1,589 of 1,663 text message accounts are active and functioning as expected—95% complete.
Canadian Branches
The Canadian transition is underway:
  • Fuze branches: RingCentral build-out has started, with the expectation that all Canadian branches currently on Fuze will be transferred by mid-December.
  • Non-Fuze branches: Migration will begin after the start of the new year.

We appreciate everyone’s patience during this transition and are confident that the move to RingCentral will improve communication across all NSM branches. More updates will be shared as the rollout progresses.

Celebrating Excellence: NSM’s Annual Awards Shine a Spotlight on ATP Achievements

As NSM continues to grow, so does our commitment to recognizing the incredible people who drive our success. This year, we’re enhancing our annual awards recognition program to better reflect the values and excellence of our organization. We’re excited to share the latest updates, which will once again be highlighted at Symposium.

NSM Excellence Awards

Launched last year, the NSM Excellence Awards—an updated version of the Pinnacle Awards—were created to recognize more ATPs than ever. Awards will be presented on the first night of Symposium and include:

  • Summit Award ($2.51M–$3.5M): Gift card + portable monitor

These expanded tiers allow us to celebrate ATPs as they continue reaching new milestones.

More updates are coming as Symposium approaches—we can’t wait to celebrate you! Only 90 days to go!

Q4 Revenue Acceleration & Manufacturer Commitments To NSM

NSM’s Supply Chain Team is driving year-end supplier performance by securing manufacturer commitments and cut-off dates to avoid inventory delays. Roho and TiLite are already prioritizing our orders to help clear the backlog—a major win! AND the Supply Chain team is actively working to pre-buy standard Roho Cushions to minimize the impact of the elongated lead times. We’ll continue to work closely with all partners to ensure a smooth delivery and help our client get the equipment they need before the end of the year.

Plan Ahead
Download the End-of-Year Cut-Off Planner for key purchase order deadlines. Orders submitted by these dates will arrive by December 19, ensuring delivery to clients before year-end.

Key Deadlines

  • Custom Seating: Schedule molds now.
  • Manufacturer PO Deadlines:
    • PinDot: 11/21/25
    • Ride Designs: 12/1/25
    • PRM: 12/1/25

Together, we can help bring smiles and mobility to the families we serve this holiday season!

Mitigating LUCI Backorder Risk for Year-End

LUCI is currently facing backorders due to logistical challenges with source materials. NSM’s Supply Chain team is actively collaborating with Funding and the manufacturer to minimize any disruption. As part of our preferred partnership, LUCI is prioritizing all NSM orders.

The Model 100 (Permobil M3) and Model 109 (Quickie 300M Mini) are on track to arrive in-branch the week of December 8, ensuring timely client deliveries. These models account for the majority of NSM’s LUCI volume.

All other LUCI models are expected after year-end. Funding is reviewing each impacted order to determine if the power chair and LUCI components can be split, allowing safe delivery of the power chair before year-end when possible.

Big News: Missouri Medicaid Now Covers Power Seat Elevation – Effective November 1, 2025!

Missouri Medicaid just made a game-changing update for power wheelchair users. In a provider bulletin released on November 14, 2025, they announced coverage and reimbursement for power wheelchair seat elevation systems (E2298), as well as Group 2 power wheelchairs with seat elevation (K0830/K0831) for services starting November 1, 2025. Full details are available here:
Power Wheelchair Seat Elevation System Coverage in DME Program | mydss.mo.gov.

With this new coverage, seat elevation should now be evaluated for every Medicaid beneficiary. Some key points to maximize both patient benefit and reimbursement:

  • K0830/K0831 (Seat Elevation without Power Functions):
    • Best margin options: Jazzy Air Med or Vision Sport.
    • Avoid: J4E with static seat and seat elevation.
  • K0835 (Seat Elevation with Power Tilt):
    • Preferred option: J4E with power tilt and seat elevation.
