NSM’s Supply Chain Team Working to Mitigate Year-End Risk From Dock Worker Strike
On Monday October 1, the dock worker members of the International Longshoreman’s Association (ILA) initiated a strike impacting east coast ports (USMX), spanning from Maine to Texas. NSM’s Supply Chain Team is working with our manufacturer partners to manage impact and minimize the risk of supply supporting for year-end deliveries.

We Need Your Help to Remind All Employees to Continue to Just Ask for Positive Google Reviews
September was a good month for us with
202 total Google Reviews and 81% 5-star reviews. While all divisions are averaging a 4.0 or better Google Review star rating for the month, we have noticed a dip in the number of Google Reviews compared to the summer months after the launch of the program where we had 263 Google Reviews in July and 241 in August.
Field Support Initiatives
2024 Harassment and Discrimination Annual Compliance Training Assigned to All NSM Employees Via NSM U
Maintaining a respectful workplace at NSM is every employee’s responsibility! With this in mind, all NSM employees have been assigned a the Discrimination and Harassment Annual Compliance training via NSM University. The required course must be completed by Wednesday, October 9.
Home Access’ CRT Pilot Expanded to 50 Branches on October 1
Following a successful 6-branch pilot, which saw a 442% increase in referrals and a 120% increase in referral sales, the program rolled out to 50 NSM branches on October 1. The Home Access Referral Project expanded to all 21 Access Branches and 29 Supporting Branches.
'Default Sort by Authorization Expiration Dates' Mobility Advisor Enhancement Drives Awareness of Authorization Expiring Orders
To help drive awareness around orders that are most in danger of having the authorizations expire, we have enhanced Mobility Advisor Queues to sort by Authorization Expiration Dates.
