Congress Extends Telehealth Flexibilities Through Sept. 2025
Last week, the House and Senate passed a continuing resolution (CR) to maintain government funding at FY 2024 levels through Sept. 30, 2025. The CR includes provisions to extend Medicare telehealth flexibilities first established during the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency through Sept. 30.

NSM Officially Re-Accredited by The Joint Commission!
Every 3 years, The Joint Commission visits a sampling of our branches to be sure we continue to maintain the highest standards in client care and that we qualify for re-accreditation.  We are proud to announce that based on the recent site visits, we are officially re-accredited.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: NSM Virtual Town Hall Recap
On March 5, NSM CEO, Crispin Teufel hosted a series of employee virtual town hall sessions. During the sessions he reviewed and celebrated NSM's 2024 accomplishments, shared NSM's 2025 company priorities and more. NSM Closing Out First Quarter of 2025 with 4.3 Average Star Rating
As we near the end of the first quarter of 2025, NSM is holding steady at a 4.30 average star rating for the company, with 430 total reviews and almost 80% of them being a 5-star review! Currently 43% of NSM branches have reached the goal of a 4.0 - 5.0 score, while 17% are on the cusp between a 3.5 and 3.9 and 40% of NSM branches are sitting between a 1.0 and 3.4 Google Review rating. 
 

Field Support Updates

Verification of Benefits Eligibility Reminder
Don't forget that you must run the client’s eligibility prior to scheduling an evaluation with a technician or ATP/RTS in Mobility Advisor and submitting our verification as an “evaluation” in benefits field. Be sure to check out the helpful job aid. 
 
Client Delivery Flag Update
There has been an update on a small tool that will populate on our Client Delivery Flag. The earliest expiring/expired auth date will now appear in the scheduling bar in our activity tab above the Client Delivery Field. 

PPQA Pilot Launches in 3 Michigan Locations
There is a PPQA pilot that has just launched in 3 Michigan locations with two Funding Specialists. While we only have a few locations in the pilot, wanted to make sure everyone has a line of sight to the pilot kickoff and details as we expect to roll this out to more locations at a branch and Regional basis in the near future until all locations are rolled in.  
 
Funding Notified When Payer Response Received
Great news! NSM's Funding team is now notified via queue when a payer response is received. In the funding portal pending queue, a payer response indicator has been added to the task card and to the top queue count. 
 
Synthpop AI Company Deconstructs Incoming Fax Into Smaller Documents
As we continue to look for ways to be more efficient and serve more clients, we have launched a fax automation pilot launched in NorCal and South Pacific branches.
