Important Payroll & Benefits Updates & Reminders (US Employees Only)
Last week marked the first regular payroll of 2025. This means that it was the first paycheck with 2025 benefit deductions withheld, and the first regular payroll with our increased 401(k) match. If you have not done so already, it is imperative that you report any inaccuracies to NSM's Human Resources team immediately.
2024 Tax Documents for US Employees are Now Available Via UKG
2024 tax documents are now available for United States employees via UKG. Please be sure to take some time to review your W-2, W-4 and all other tax documents annually to ensure accuracy.
2025 Mandatory Compliance Training Assigned to All US Employees Via NSM University
To give employees the information and tools they need to provide safe, quality, and compliant care to our clients, ALL US employees have been assigned the 2025 Mandatory Compliance Training Courses via NSM University. All 2025 Compliance Training Courses must be completed by March 3. If an employee fails to complete the training by the deadline, they will become ineligible to perform work until ALL training is completed.
Field Support Updates
NSM Technology Policy for Scanning & Sending Custom Molded Seating: iPhone Pro Upgrade to Replace iPad Pro for Technology Enablement
Effective 12/20/24 NSM issued iPhone Pros will be the technology provisioned to enable the scanning and sending of digitized files for custom molded seating. The iPhone Pro is equipped with a Lidar camera, for scanning quality, has a larger screen and can support the Scaniverse App. If you already have an iPad Pro that you are using for scanning, this change will only impact you should the iPad fail and you need a replacement device.
Permobil Resumes Shipping of Speed Control Dials for Smart Drive
Permobil has notified NSM that they will start shipping the Speed Control Dials for Smart Drives ordered by NSM from November 21
st 2024 through January 16
th 2025 which shipped with a switch only. Branches will need to schedule a delivery and education of use for the client affected and secure final delivery paperwork including the line for the Smart Drive Dial.
Ormesa Distribution Update
Ormesa has inked a distribution agreement with a Manufacturer in the US to import and distribute the Ormesa line of products.
